HEATING/COOLING SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR EVENT
A & M Marquees offer different heating options based on your needs. If it is indoors, indirect ducted heaters will be required. For outdoor spaces, we use patio heaters, infra-red heaters, fire pits, or braziers.
Patio heaters are the most effective way to provide direct heat through 360o in an outside area.
Fire pits and braziers provide atmospheric warmth. although they are less effective than the patio heaters, they are more atmospheric and encourage togetherness. These can be supplied with or without logs.
A&M Marquees often use the brassieres as an atmospheric lighting option as a real flame is hard to beat particularly for winter events such as Halloween parties and even winter weddings.
Indirect heaters are the only effective way of heating a marquee. The oil fired heaters sit outside the marquee so they are less intrusive and the warm air is ducted into the marquee and then diffused, the heater is controlled by a thermostat from inside.
With an effective heating programme a marquee will be warm within 20 minutes and be able to cope with any exterior temperature. A&M Marquees supply a variety of different size heaters to suite the size of the marquee and will advise on the number required.
If it is a large winter wedding for example it is better to have multiple smaller heaters than fewer large heaters to give a more even distribution of heat and avoid warmer and cooler areas, as the guests walk into the marquee they will feel a wall of heat no matter what the exterior temperature is.
