A & M Marquees were contracted to convert this cow shed in Great Longstone, Derbyshire into a rustic wedding venue. When I carried out the fist site visit in the October prior to the June wedding the shed had the cattle in ready to over winter so it did take some vision to see what could be created from a typical functioning cow shed.

The most difficult part of this installation was to manufacture and fit the panoramic windows and canvas to ensure the structure was weather proof whilst still retaining the rustic feel that attracted the bride and groom to this unusual venue. Once the cows had been turned out and the walls had been made we attended the week prior to the event to install the wall canvas, carpet, lighting, over lay linings, dance floor, stage and furniture.

The wedding party were a great bunch to work for and were delighted with the end result having had a fantastic day and evening despite the testing British weather prior to the big day.
