TRADITIONAL MARQUEES
A & M Marquees founded the business using the traditional pole marquees in 2004, the majority of the local competition used predominantly Clearspan marquees, so we were looking for something a little different and focused towards weddings rather than the commonly used pole marquees used for agricultural shows.
The traditional marquees were selected from an American manufacturer as they had superior wind loading capabilities along with sweeping curves that improved the aesthetic appeal that other manufactures could not offer. In recent years there has been an increase in demand for the traditional marquee with the resurgence in the vintage look and the English country wedding that this style of marquee is perfect for.
In recent years A & M Marquees have expanded their range of traditional marquees with the addition of UK manufactured Petal Pole marquees. These structures offer the benefits of the vintage styling that is seen in Vogue, with the advantage of modern manufacturing techniques and fabric technology that replicates the look of cotton canvas without any of the negative aspects associated with this type of fabric. These structures have wooden poles with wood finials that add to the olde worlde look of this structure that look fantastic with festoon lighting strung between the king poles.
Traditional marquees can be offered as a simple canopy, walled to enclose from the elements and fully floored and lined to provide a premium venue for many different events, including weddings, corporate events and family parties.
